Boys Street Dance
The only boys Street Dance in the area taught by our very talented male dance teacher.
Absolutely amazing classes! My son comes home brimming with confidence, singing and dancing around the house. His confidence has grown immensely, and he has mastered so many new skills and even taken part in a show. He is so proud to be a part of this group, and his face lights up when he talks about it. He feels safe, unjudged, and a huge sense of pride. Infact, he refuses to take off his Pop Star Performers T-shirt for the rest of the day, proudly singing its praises – quite literally – to all he meets; the ultimate sign of a happy customer! Why Boys Street Dance?
As a mum of two boys I felt this class would be a great addition to our current offering. Once boys get to a certain age, dance can sometimes feel like a ‘girly’ thing to do and I wanted to provide a space where they can enjoy themselves whilst still feeling like a boys boy. The dance itself is also slightly different as we are learning all the power moves which are more suited to the male body type. The guys are working on freezes, and strengthening exercises as well as routines and bopping.
Who teaches the class?
